I’ve learned a thing or two about babies, poop, reflux, colic, breast pumps, gripe water, swaddling, moby wraps, yoga balls, insomnia, hemorrhoids and motherhood.
Of course I have learnt nothing at all about fatherhood!
It seems in this fledgling phase, what our baby craves most is mothering.
Mothering from my ever-patient and progressively exhausted wife.
Mothering from me – at times attempting a feed from my substantial man-boobs.
Grandmothering from our two wizened ancestors, who bring zen-like calm to soothing our baby… slipping her a tired old titty once in a while when the going gets tough...
I’m on to them!
